Vinetrust Networks & Engineering Ltd is seeking to hire experienced Telecom Project Managers to lead multi-country rollout programs across West Africa. You will manage 4–5-person engineering teams delivering end to end telecom infrastructure projects including RAN, MW, Core, power systems, fiber, and turnkey site builds.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of telecom rollout projects across multiple West African countries.
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams (RAN, MW, Core, Rigging, Power, Fiber, EHS).
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, SOWs, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure all engineering teams meet Ericsson standards for installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Technical & Infrastructure Oversight
Oversee delivery across all service domains, including:
- Turnkey Telecom Site Build (civil, structural, electrical, and equipment installation).
- RF & Microwave Installations (Ericsson MINI-LINK, antennas, radios).
- Tower Construction & Site Retrofit (greenfield, rooftop, IBS, and modernization).
- AC/DC Power System Installations (rectifiers, batteries, generators, ATS).
- Power Grid Connections.
- Hybrid & Solar Power System Installations for energy-efficient sites.
- Site Inspection & Technical Audits for quality and compliance.
- Grounding & Earthing Remediation to meet telecom and electrical standards. • Fiber Optics Design, Implementation
Quality, Compliance & EHS
- Ensure all work complies with Global OEM vendor EHS Standards and local regulations.
- Work closely with the EHS Lead to enforce safe-work procedures across all sites.
- Conduct quality checks, site acceptance, and documentation reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
Financial & Contract Management
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Track material consumption, logistics, and vendor performance.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and client-facing updates.
Travel & Deployment
- Travel across West Africa to supervise field teams, conduct audits, and support project delivery.
- Lead remote and on-site teams in challenging environments.
Requirements
- 7–15 years of experience managing telecom rollout or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of Ericsson RAN, MW, Core, and site build workflows.
- Proven experience delivering multi-country or large-scale telecom programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (preferred).
- Ability to travel extensively across West Africa.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making capability.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with turnkey site build, power systems, and fiber deployments.
- Background working with mobile operators, OEMs, or major telecom vendors.
- Familiarity with West African telecom environments and regulatory frameworks.
